Last night, the historic Aztec Theatre vibrated with the sounds of DIIV, who graced the stage as part of their 2024 North American tour. Opening the show were They Are Gutting a Body of Water and Untitled (Halo).

Shoegaze, characterized by its lush, reverb-heavy sound, has seen a resurgence in recent years, and DIIV has been at the forefront of this movement. With swirling guitars and tidal vocals, DIIV treated the audience to tracks from their latest album, "Frog in Boiling Water," released this past May 24. This album marks their first release in five years since 2019's "Deceiver," and fans were ecstatic to experience the new material live.
