Free Week kicked off at Paper Tiger on Jan. 10, featuring over thirty local bands across three nights of live music. While smaller in scope than previous years, this edition gave an opportunity to showcase emerging talent as well as celebrate established acts.

The 2025 lineup included fresh faces like Beware of Dog, Montufar, Mariana Be, Night Ritualz and Alex Beltran, alongside music scene veterans Dance Like Robots, Collective Dreams and Floats. Attendees also enjoyed sets from DJ Collective House Arrest with Natvillain, Kudo Provenance, Jojo Mojo and DTP.

This year’s Free Week not only demonstrated San Antonio’s musical diversity, but it also provided a  platform for artists to connect with the community, and that’s always worth celebrating.
