La Semana Alegre's Resurgence at Hemisfair Recaptures the Nostalgia of a Fiesta Tradition

This weekend marked the return of La Semana Alegre with a vibrant two-day celebration at Hemisfair. Three decades ago, this festival hosted legendary acts like KISS, Selena, Ozzy Osbourne, and Emilio Navaira. Fast forward to this year, where we witnessed more than 20 bands gracing the stage over the weekend, including notable local talents like Nicky Diamonds, Honey Bunny, and Garrett T. Capps.
