Gallery: Mohama Saz Brings Sounds of Spain to San Antonio

World Psych Night, presented by Codafin Touring, transformed Stable Hall into a vibrant melting pot of global musical influences. Leading the charge was Mohama Saz, the Madrid-based band known for their distinctive fusion of Spanish roots with the mystical tones of North Africa and the Eastern Mediterranean. Their performance was a blend of acidic synthesizers and flamenco flair, with lyrics and melodies that transported the audience to the golden wheat fields of Andalucía. The evening began with dynamic sets from San Antonio’s own psych-rock bands, True Indigo and the spirited, prop-driven John Charlie’s Heavy Love.
